In 2019, Hang was appointed vice president and founding dean of the Morrison Family College of Health. She has a track record of proven values-based leadership who is passionate about the well-being of underserved communities. Prior career role was president and CEO of the Wilder Foundation. Hang was awarded the Community Champion 40 and Forward Award, given during the 40th Anniversary by the Washington, D.C.-based Southeast Asian Resource Action Center.
Hang earned her BA in psychology from Brown University, her MA in public affairs from the University of Minnesota, and a doctorate in public administration from Hamline University.
